The Tennessee Department of Safety License Stations may not issue a hazardous materials endorsement (HME) until the applicant has first submitted to a fingerprint-based background check. The security threat assessment is now initiated through the Hazardous Material Endorsement Enrollment website or you may call 1-877-429-7746 to complete an application. An application must be completed either online or through the 1-877-429-7746 Help Desk prior to arriving at a fingerprint capture location. | |
